Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts, meticulously checking for any mechanical issues or safety hazards to ensure operational readiness and prevent accidents.
  • Operate forklifts with precision and care, safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse or worksite, adhering strictly to load capacity limits.
  • Efficiently transport goods to designated locations, optimizing space utilization and minimizing travel time, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of all forklift activities, including inspections, maintenance, and material movements, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, providing a foundational level of education for understanding instructions.
  • A valid forklift operator certification is essential, demonstrating proficiency and adherence to safety standards.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred, allowing for immediate contribution and understanding of workflow.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts, showing a proven ability to handle various types of materials.
