Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of forklift issues, from engine problems and hydraulic leaks to electrical faults and structural damage.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including fluid changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, and tire checks, to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and schematics to accurately identify the root cause of malfunctions and develop effective repair strategies.
  • Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections and post-repair testing to verify the safety and functionality of all repaired forklifts.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational training in mechanics or a related field is highly advantageous.
  • Possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification, demonstrating understanding of equipment operation and safety.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience specifically repairing and maintaining forklifts or similar heavy equipment.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing internal combustion engines, electric motors, and hydraulic systems.
