Job Summary
AECOM is currently seeking interested and qualified candidates for the Integrated Base Defense Sustainment Support (IBD-SS) program. Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PdM FPS) and PdM Counter Explosive Hazard (CEH) have requirements for comprehensive training, contractor logistics, operator, and sustainment support services, to include material procurement, for equipment and capabilities in the contiguous United States and outside the contiguous United States. These positions are contingent upon successful award of the IBD-SS program.
The Production Planner 2 performs as the Forward Operator II and is responsible for planning, scheduling, and organizing the efficient operation and performance of work assignments. Coordinates with various departments to achieve optimum utilization of operation resources and effectively achieve production improvements through usage of industry standard methodologies. Schedules work activities in a manner that ensures project resources are efficiently allocated to support applicable phases of operations. Develops work packages and instructions to support work activities including pre-planning, material staging requisitioning/expediting, labor estimating, and all other field support as required. Monitors assignments to ensure that they are within the agreed scope, schedule and budget and that the work is being performed within outlined policies and expectations. Coordinates timely development and release of work packages, task requests, and work orders to support the master schedule. Reviews and analyzes delays in schedule, expedites any work activities requiring work packages that delay schedules, and coordinates schedule changes needed to encompass unforeseen conditions. Ensures work orders are in compliance with project directive documents, assists in the determination of work priority, and establishes workflow processes that support work management and operations goals. Periodically reviews work performed for attainment or obtainment of objectives, policy compliance and priorities, effective coordination, technical adequacy and responsiveness to established guidelines. Integrates efficient operations that are in compliance with company policies, client requirements, and governmental regulations. Ensures all safety and environmental guidelines are followed without deviation. Develops detailed schedules, material requirement lists, and production plans for complex operations and/or production processes where the processes are new and/or variable. Coordinates engineering, production control, purchasing and other applicable departments to achieve optimum utilization of facilities in meeting production schedules. Provides input to management regarding problems such as shortages, design changes, backlogs and the like. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements
•Up to 3 years experience and a BA/BS degree or 6 years of experience in lieu of a BA/BS degree, and possess a thorough knowledge of technical publications related to HMDS systems/component or similar systems
•Clarity of written and oral expression desired
•Must have knowledge of the scope and limitations of various categories of electronic maintenance (related maintenance functions) and their applications to the supported systems
•Must know theory and principles of operation of engines, accessories and components, and a thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
•Must be capable of using and reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables
•Must be able to inspect, repair, and operate ground support and auxiliary equipment
•Must have ability to read, interpret and apply instructions, publications, and safety rules
•Position will require travel and overseas deployment
•Candidates will attend the Contractor Replacement Center and complete all processing for overseas employment and b medically fit in accordance with Department of Defense Contract medical fitness requirements
•Position requires a Security Clearance with access to the Secret Level
•Vocational/technical training beyond high school required
•Technical school or military training will satisfy this requirement
