Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide management and technical leadership to a team of modellers delivering wastewater, network projects, within agreed timeframes and budgets to exceed clients' expectations.
- Design of storm water and wastewater networks including various assets of the networks like: Pump Stations, Combined Sewer Overflows (CSO), Storage tanks, Flow Control Structures and Sustainable Drainage Solutions.
- Plan, programme, and co-ordinate project delivery
- Delivery of technical reports and management of the check and review process.
- Undertake the development of modelled engineering solutions to mitigate the effects of development, to solve sewer flooding and to address unsatisfactory overflows
- Involved in a variety of projects including model build and verification, using existing or new models to understand system performance and using the model to help the design of system improvements and enhancements to the Wastewater Network.
- Plan, programme, co-ordinate and write reports for specific projects
- Liaison with Internal and External entities
Desired Candidate Profile
- BSc/BEng or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
- 10 years of experience in Foul Network modelling.
- Experience within the region would be required.
- Skills required are - model build calibration, optioneering and design & modelling, reviews, and operational aspects.
- Hands on experience on Info Works WS/WS Pro, ArcGIS is essential
- Experience within the water industry with a focus on wastewater network solutions
