This role involves editing and refining written content for social media platforms, ensuring clarity, consistency, and engaging messaging. The position is a full-time contract role, offering the opportunity to shape the voice and communication style of a growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong editing skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of how to adapt copy for different platforms and audiences.

Deliverables

• Review and edit social media posts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.
• Enhance clarity, tone, and readability while maintaining brand voice.
• Ensure all copy is engaging, concise, and tailored for specific platforms.
• Collaborate with content creators to refine messaging and suggest improvements.
• Adapt copy for multiple formats, including captions, headlines, and short-form content.
• Provide consistent quality control across all written communications.

Requirements

• Strong background in copy editing with demonstrable skills in refining written content.
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Ability to edit quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, content-driven environment.
• Excellent command of English grammar, style, and tone.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Prior experience with social media content editing or digital marketing copy preferred.
• Reliable and organized, with a focus on meeting deadlines for daily and scheduled content.
