Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French language lessons tailored to preschool-aged children.
Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages language acquisition through play, songs, stories, and interactive activities.
Assess and monitor each child s progress in learning French, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate French language learning into broader early childhood curriculum themes.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom in accordance with nursery policies and health regulations.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, promoting open communication and cultural appreciation.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Prepare and utilize age-appropriate materials, visual aids, and technology to enhance language instruction.
Support children s social and emotional development in a multicultural setting.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 1 year and up to 3 years of experience teaching French to young children, preferably in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
Fluency in French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and child-centered teaching methodologies.
Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
Demonstrated patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
Effective classroom management and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
