As you personally greet our Guests and assist them throughout the day, you will be empowered to deliver on our mission of "Turning moments into memories for our guests".
Hotel Overview:
Fairmont The Palm is a luxury, world-class resort located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah Island in Dubai. The hotel features 381 guest rooms and suites with dedicated Fairmont Gold rooms and lounge. A total of ten food and beverage outlets on property offer international dining options including Indian, Modern Asian and Mideterranean cuisine and a Brazilian churrasco experience. Fairmont The Palm also features an expansive pool and beach area with a health club, Willow Stream Spa and the Fairmont Falcons Juniors Club.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager, Front Office responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
•Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
•Greet, check in and settle guest accounts while ensuring all service standards are followed
•Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
•Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
•Follow all safety policies
•Other duties as assigned

Hotels / Hospitality

Chefs / F&B / Housekeeping / Front Desk

Desired Candidate Profile

•Proficient in the English language (verbal & written), second language is an asset
•Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment
•Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
•Previous customer related experience an asset•Previous PMS experience an asset
•Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset
•Must be able to type 25 words per minute
•Must possess a professional presentation
•Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
•Highly responsible & reliable
•Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
•Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
•Hospitality Diploma is an asset
•Must be flexible in terms of working hours
•Must have the ability to handle cash effectively and accurately
Physical Aspects of Position:Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:
•Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
•Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
•Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
