Responsibilities
Assist the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager with roasters
Monitor and keep updated the file of vacations for all the team members at the Front Office
Coordinate all trainings within the department and keep L&D Manager informed at all times
Maintain computer files updated
Perform data entry
Keep appointment calendars
Pass messages to staff and management within the department
Sort incoming and outgoing mail
Be in charge of purchase orders and stock requests for the department
Ensure that sufficient stationary is available for the daily operation
Ensure that Training manual is continuously updated, maintained and used effectively.
Help and assist the front desk when needed.
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager
Stay current with developments and procedures in the hotel by attending daily Front Office briefings and reviewing the Front Office communications board regularly
Education & Certificates
Senior School qualifications
Experience
Minimum 2 years experience working in a 5-star hotel environment.
A minimum of 1 year Front Office experience.
Previous experience working in the Middle East Region is an advantage.
Strong commands of Microsoft Office products, PSMS, GoConcierge, HotSoS, and Rex.
Skills
Ability to understand guest needs and expectations and to deliver superior customer service.
Perform job with attention to details and the ability to organize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Clear communication; effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic is an advantage.
