Role: Functional Tester
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Extensive QA Experience:
o Minimum 5+ years in software testing and QA, preferably in Islamic banking
domain.
o Proven experience in leading QA efforts for digital banking solutions.
o Understanding of banking operations and digital transformation initiatives.
Technical Proficiency:
o Hands-on experience with SQL tools (Rapid SQL, PL/SQL Developer,
SQL Server), Citrix, ETL Informatica, and Crystal Reports.
o Exposure to web and mobile application testing, SSH Shell, and Putty.
o Knowledge of automation tools (UFT, Selenium) and performance testing
tools (LoadRunner, JMeter) is a plus.
1. Skilled in preparing RTMs, test cases, test plans, test strategies, and
closure reports.
2. Strong alignment of test artifacts with business and technical requirements.
1. Proficient in SIT/UAT, functional, integration, regression, and
performance testing.
2. Capable of validating workflows and system controls across platforms.
1. Experienced in requirement analysis, impact assessments, defect tracking, and
change request handling.
2. Familiarity with Jira or similar bug tracking tools.
1. Able to support application and package deployments across database and
application servers.
2. Validate integrations and ensure seamless functionality across environments.
5. Project & Environment Management:
1. Manage multiple testing environments (SIT, UAT, Staging).
2. Coordinate with IT teams for setup and version control.
6. Reporting & Metrics:
1. Experienced in effort estimation, capacity planning, and dashboard/report
preparation.
