Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement planting schemes that enhance the aesthetic appeal of gardens while considering seasonal changes and plant compatibility.
  • Monitor and maintain soil health through regular testing, fertilization, and organic amendments to ensure optimal plant growth.
  • Conduct regular inspections of plants, identifying pests and diseases and applying appropriate treatments while minimizing chemical use.
  • Prune and trim plants, shrubs, and trees to promote healthy growth, shape, and flowering, ensuring adherence to best horticultural practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A degree in Horticulture, Botany, or a related field enhances understanding of plant biology and care techniques.
  • Certification from recognized gardening or landscaping organizations demonstrates credibility and commitment to professional standards.
  • At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in gardening or landscape maintenance, showcasing practical skills and knowledge.
  • Experience with organic gardening methods is preferred, reflecting an understanding of sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.
