� Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant – General Works to manage the full accounting cycle and support daily finance operations. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and able to maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment. � Responsibilities: Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger entries. Manage the entire accounting cycle from data entry to financial reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. Maintain proper documentation and organized filing systems. Generate and analyze Excel reports using formulas, pivot tables, and charts. Assist with VAT filing, audits, and compliance tasks. Monitor cash flow, prepare payment schedules, and ensure timely disbursements. Support inventory costing and job costing as needed. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., procurement, admin, HR) to ensure accurate record keeping. ✅ Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of accounting experience in the UAE (general works/contracting background is a plus). Strong command of MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation, charts, etc.). Familiar with UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards. Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems). Good communication skills in English (verbal and written). High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
