Bachelor or Masters in Business Administration or Engineering degree from well-reputed universities.
Min. 10 years of senior management experience strictly in the woodwork sector (woodworking, cabinetry, closets, casework, kitchens and pantries, joineries, furniture manufacturing and related) in the GCC area, ideally UAE, with at least 3 years as General Manager within well-established local or regional joinery and wood workshop company.
Previous technical experience as Plant Manager or Workshop Manager before reaching a GM role is a major asset.
Experience in bespoke high-end commercial and residential work is required.
Exposed to good manufacturing processes (Lean, GMP, Six Sigma and similar) and high quality products.
Broad experience in high-end joinery and furniture making techniques and processes. Good knowledge of woodworking machinery.
Based in Dubai and covering the GCC markets.
Will be responsible for the overall management and control of workshop and production, managing all joinery shop production activities on a daily basis
Will optimize the current Joinery Workshop business, focusing on improving the Operational Efficiencies and Quality across all manufacturing and assembly workflows, in particular Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and site installation/assembly.
Will lead the business development and sales efforts of the company brand, as well building new customers base both in UAE and regionally.
Will implement Lean Manufacturing processes and standards to every workflow, including assembly, shipping and installation.
Will implement Six Sigma principles to the manufacturing and supply chain processes of the Workshop, ensuring that the team is properly trained and developed in same.
Will plan and manage the Workshop manufacturing team development and resource allocation. Will manage P&L and balance sheet performance.
