GM to run operations of Facilities Management Company; he/she should be a strategic planner with expertise in marketing, planning, consulting, budgeting, facility and maintenance, engineering, and evaluation of goals and objectives of the company.
P&L responsibility & budget preparation
Seek and evaluate FM opportunities
Plan, direct, and coordinate current FM projects
o Structure FM and project management proposal i.e. time frame, financing, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and resources
o Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Plan, direct, coordinate budget activities for new projects and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
Develop and implement customer service standards.
o Develop, coordinate and evaluate the implementation of monitoring and inspection programs to ensure an appropriate level of customer service are met.
o Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with customers and employees.
o Conduct regular staff meetings to review on-going operations, trouble-shoot areas needing corrective action, issues related to employees, etc
Electro-mechanical Engineer and/or MBA related field
7- 10 years experience
3-year experience as General Manager
Knowledge in Facility Management and Maintenance
Possess strong analytical, technical, organizational, management and presentation skills.
