Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute long-term business strategy across UAE, GCC, and Jordan

  • Drive market expansion and competitive positioning

  • Identify new business opportunities in heavy transport and cargo sectors

  1. Commercial Management

  • Lead client acquisition and key account management

  • Manage tendering, pricing, and contract negotiations

  • Build relationships with EPC contractors, logistics partners, and government entities

  1. Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day transport operations and dispatch planning

  • Ensure timely and efficient execution of all transport movements

  • Monitor operational performance and service delivery standards

  1. Fleet Management

  • Manage utilization and productivity of 100+ vehicles

  • Oversee maintenance planning and reduce downtime

  • Optimize fuel usage and overall fleet cost efficiency

  1. Cross-border logistics

  • Manage transport operations across UAE, GCC, and Jordan

  • Ensure compliance with customs procedures and border regulations

  • Coordinate permits and documentation for international movements

  1. Project Cargo Management

  • Oversee handling of oversized and heavy cargo

  • Ensure proper planning for route surveys and load execution

  • Manage specialized transport requirements and equipment usage

  1. Financial Management

  • Own full P&L responsibility

  • Control budgets, operational costs, and profitability

  • Implement cost optimization and revenue improvement strategies

  1. Compliance & HSE

  • Ensure adherence to transport laws and safety regulations

  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices

  • Manage risk, incidents, and regulatory requirements

  1. Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop operations, fleet, and support teams

  • Establish KPIs and performance management systems

  • Build a strong accountability and performance culture

  1. Digital Integration

  • Drive ERP utilization and process automation

  • Implement fleet tracking and reporting systems

  • Use data analytics to improve decision-making

Desired Candidate Profile

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

− Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering (MBA preferred)

− 12–18+ years of experience in logistics / heavy transport

− Minimum 5–7 years in senior leadership role

− Proven experience managing:

  • Large fleets (100+ vehicles preferred)

  • Cross-border logistics

  • Heavy / oversized cargo
