As a General Mechanic, you will support the upkeep and repair of mechanical systems throughout the hotel, ensuring smooth operations and guest comfort at all times.What will I be doing?As General Mechanic, you will:Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment.Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, motors, fans, compressors, and other mechanical components.Respond promptly to guest room and public area maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption.Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.Maintain accurate logs and records of maintenance activities.Support energy-saving initiatives by ensuring systems operate efficiently.Collaborate with the Engineering team to complete projects and upgrades.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, safe, and well-organized.Perform additional tasks as required to support the smooth functioning of the Engineering department.What are we looking for?The ideal candidate will have:Previous experience as a Mechanic or Maintenance Technician, preferably within luxury hospitality.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and repair techniques.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to urgent issues.A detail-oriented and safety-conscious approach.Why join LXR?At LXR Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi, you will be part of a team that ensures flawless operations behind every guest experience
