Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on individual health needs.
- Manage chronic conditions by providing ongoing care, education, and support to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Perform routine physical examinations and diagnostic tests to detect early signs of health issues.
- Collaborate with specialists and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and referrals when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns effectively, fostering a trusting and supportive doctor-patient relationship.
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices through continuous education and professional development.
- Administer minor surgical procedures and manage acute health issues within the scope of general practice.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution, with a focus on general practice.
- Completion of a residency program in family medicine or general practice, ensuring hands-on experience in patient care.
- Board certification in family medicine or general practice, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a primary care setting, showcasing a track record of effective patient management.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare colleagues seamlessly.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient patient documentation and data management.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure, ensuring quality care during emergencies.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and staying abreast of advancements in medical practices and technologies.
- Empathy and compassion, essential for understanding and addressing patients' physical and emotional needs.
