• Perform complex surgical procedures with precision and attention to detail.
• Assess patients to determine the need for surgery and appropriate interventions.
• Develop a personalized surgical plan based on the patient's unique condition.
• Provide information to patients and families about surgical procedures and recovery.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgical assistants, and nurses during operations.
• Maintain high standards of sterile technique during surgical procedures.
• Conduct postoperative visits to monitor patient recovery and address complications.
• Participate in clinical consultations and provide second opinions when required.
• Stay up to date with advancements and best practices in surgical care.
• Ensure strict adherence to hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent with specialization in surgery.
• Completion of a general surgery residency program from a recognized institution.
• Board certification in general surgery is highly preferred or eligible for certification.
• Valid medical license to practice as a surgeon in the state or region.
• Proven experience as a general surgeon with a strong surgical skill set.
• Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations and emergencies.
