Job Description
• Support the Functional Program Manager and Senior Generation Specialst in establishing the long-range planning relationship with the Transmission and Distribution entity, currently TRANSCO.
• Work with BNPP Units 1- 4 to update the 10 year long-range outage schedules in support of future major planned outages (e.g., a turbine overhaul or major component replacement). Support the Senior Generation Specialst in maintaining theselong-range schedules and plans with other involved departments (e.g., Operations and Maintenance) and external stakeholders (e.g., TRANSCO).
• Working with T&D, act as the interface for any requirement to enter Extended Low Power Operation (ELPO) and communicate this need to applicable BNPP functions.
• The Generation Planning Specialist, who reports to the Manager, Functional Programs, is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Units 3/4 functional development plans for the WM&OP functions, and coordinating the development of long-range schedules and plans in support of future major planned outages

Program Development and Implementation
• Within the scope of the Nawah Operating Model, monitors the implementation of the Units 1/2 functional development plans for the functions within the Work Management and Outage Planning department.
• With respect to long-term generation planning:
• (1) Supports Functional Program Manager and Senior Generation Specialist in their role as a point of contact between Nawah and TRANSCO regarding matters related to demand side management and extended low power operation
• (2) Updates the 10-year overhaul plan for outages for all four unitsc. Maintains integrated TRANSCO Demand plan with the BNPP 10 year overhaul schedule and assures that all applicable BNPP functions have adequate time to accommodate the demand plan in their planning processes.
Capacity Building
• Contributes to the capacity building of Nawah personnel regarding nuclear work management and outage planning functions, expectations, and practices.

Skills
Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience relevant to this position as defined in the experience requirements below.
• Technical degree preferred
Experience
• 5+ years experience in nuclear power plant construction-, commissioning-, and operations-related areas.
• and/or
• 3+ years experience in developing and implementing nuclear-related programs.
• Experience in preparing for, and facilitating appraisals and assessments of nuclear facilities by regulatory agencies
• Experince in Transmission and Generation
Technical Competency
• Demonstrated understanding of work management and outage planning activities.
• Able to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with peers within the ENEC organization and external stakeholders.
• Good decision making ability.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of P6, and Project, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft products.

Education
