Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot generator systems to identify faults and implement effective repairs, ensuring maximum operational efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on various types of generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and electrical inspections to prolong equipment lifespan.
  • Install, test, and commission new generator units, following industry standards to ensure compliance and safety regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, enabling accurate tracking of equipment performance and history.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in generator maintenance and repair, demonstrating a solid understanding of systems.
  • Certifications such as EPA 608 or manufacturer-specific training (e.g., Cummins, Caterpillar) will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or emergency services is advantageous.
