Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all glazing activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines, including window and door installations.
  • Manage a team of glaziers, providing clear instructions, training, and performance evaluations to optimize productivity and quality of work.
  • Conduct regular inspections of completed work and in-progress installations to maintain quality control, identifying and rectifying any defects promptly.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings to accurately determine the scope of work and material requirements for each project.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, a degree or certification in construction management is preferred.
  • Possess relevant certifications such as OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a glazier, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of glass types, glazing systems, and installation techniques for commercial and residential projects is required.
