Job Description
• To create the most robust, easy to scale and fast to on board Delivery associate training program in world
• To do qualitative and quantitative research on the training needs of driver team
• To develop and improve content material for driver training
• To design and conduct over the weekend trainings in full batches
• To design conduct role plays and focussed group discussion in small batches everyday
• To prepare and evaluate the progress of drivers at an individual level
• To design and deliver in scalable and structured manner the most delightful delivery experience for customers of Jumia
• Control and monitor driver customer communication in line with customer Journey to ensure good customer experience.
• Implement the Delivery portion of customer journey in tandem with Jumia Operations
• To contribute in OPS process and planning with a focus on driver needs and customer experience
• Monitor competitor s delivery offerings and ensure Jumia delivery options are competitive and compelling.
• Regular and consistent feedback activities / mechanisms to ascertain the services levels of 3rd Party Logistics providers and encourage improvements.
• Ensuring that all assigned vehicles are properly maintained, which includes routine maintenance and vehicle cleanliness. Maintenance expenses should be managed to limit cost when possible.
• Tracking and administration of any incentive programs to create excitement.
• To design and implement the program to be more cost efficient with scale but still be individually rewarding for best DAs
• Coach, lead and develop drivers to support the delivery team and improve daily productivity on gate to gate basis
• Build robust and scalable hiring methodology for DA s in all countries
• To enhance road safety and risk mitigation aspects of the DA s daily work life
• To design and implement Pick up station experience manual for all Jumia Pick up stations including those with 3PLs
• Define Jumia PUS model / standard equipment; branding; scripts and routines
• Build hiring methodology for PUS agents
• Design and implement training program for PUS agents
• To give business inputs to enhance the Delivery App Product
• TO design and roll out various community initiatives for DAs
• Micro financing
• Celebrations - Bdays; Family engagements; Contests
• Brand building
• To build the DA community mgmt. concept to further scale it up and translate into a sustainable engagement platform, either developed internally or available in market
• Managing and sustaining engagement on the DA community and foster it to sustain at scale
