Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited university.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, material science, and stress concepts.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, API, ASTM, and ISO (basic knowledge acceptable at graduate level).
- Basic proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, E3D/PDMS, Navisworks, and exposure to Caesar II or equivalent stress analysis tools (training can be provided).
- Knowledge of piping components and systems, including valves, fittings, supports, and pressure equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (P&IDs, isometrics, GA drawings, equipment layouts).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and develop technical competence through on the job training and mentoring.
- Basic understanding of safety standards and engineering best practices, including awareness of constructability.
