Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Technical discipline

Experience

5-7 Years

Language

Knowledge of

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an IT management role, with the ability to manage the entire spectrum of information technology operations

Familiar with

Should have management, supervisory, analytical, problem solving skills and able to implement all aspects of Information Technology within the company. Also, possess proficient written, verbal and spoken communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION


Purpose of the job:
Responsible for the strategic direction and control of IT operations including planning, policies and procedures, project control and supervision of all corporate IT Systems, networks, software development, documentation, IT service support, telecommunication technology, designing, developing and maintaining Web-based applications and responsible for its security, integrity and upgrade.

Ensure that an acceptable standard of Quality Management System is maintained in accordance with recognized working practice and company’s Quality Manual and Policy.


Duties and Responsibilities:

 Heads the IT Department of the Group.
 Maintains a thorough knowledge of all the divisions in the group and ensure that the standards of the company and its Principals are maintained.
 Propose annual IT budget, strategies and plans for Company group and its subsidiaries. Review and approve cost pool expenditures.
 Plan, administer and review the acquisition, development, maintenance and use of computer and telecommunication system in the organization.
 Manages and monitor network operations to include: troubleshooting connectivity problems; installing and maintaining routers; adding/terminating users; assigning rights and access; establishing e-mail addresses; assessing and reporting operational status; performing backups and restores etc.
 Ensure technology documents/certificates such as product registration, SSL certificates, maintenance agreements, service contracts, etc. related to technology operations and /or technology services are evaluated, updated and processed.
 Present and implement technological alternatives to streamline functions and improve productivity.
 Ensure compliance with all software licensing agreements. Manages and safeguards software media and associated licenses.
 Ensure networks, workstations, operating systems and software applications are operational; ensure hardware and software is updated.
 Ensure the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to Company and all divisions.
 Coordinates IT training needs for Company Departments and its subsidiaries, submit training schedule and regularly monthly report to the Managing Director.
 Provide MD with a weekly activity update report for Company IT department.
 Provide all the Company Departments and its subsidiaries with a monthly report showing their efficiency, to compare with the business plan and to inform the MD about the short- and long-term requirements.
