Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Negotiate and secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements with a diverse portfolio of suppliers to optimize cost savings and value.
- Develop and implement group purchasing strategies that align with organizational goals, encompassing spend analysis and market research to identify opportunities.
- Manage and oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from identifying needs to contract management and supplier performance evaluation, ensuring seamless processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaborative partnerships that drive innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct thorough spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and drive strategic sourcing initiatives, evaluating and quantifying savings.
- Lead cross-functional teams to gather requirements, evaluate bids, and select suppliers, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Monitor market trends, identify potential risks, and proactively develop mitigation plans to safeguard supply chain stability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and all relevant legal and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.
- Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline procurement processes, leverage technology, and improve overall efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, laying a strong foundation.
- Holds relevant certifications such as CPSM or CIPS, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence.
- Brings 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the Automotive ,Facilities sector.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and negotiation techniques, critical for success.
- Demonstrates experience in strategic sourcing, spend analysis, and supplier relationship management, showcasing analytical skills.
- Proficient in using procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), streamlining operations.
- Displays exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, crucial for building relationships.
- Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, essential for data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrates leadership potential and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively, fostering collaboration.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus,
