Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Growth Director with deep expertise in customer retention and lifecycle management to lead our growth initiatives. This vertical leadership role will oversee the companys retention strategy while contributing to overall customer acquisition and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and scaling retention-focused growth functions, leading high-performing teams, and delivering measurable impact on customer lifetime value and business growth.


Hands-On Execution & Vertical Leadership


This is a working director role - you lead from the front by doing the work, not just managing it

This role would have CRM lead, 2 data analyst and 1 Data Engineer as direct report.

Expected to personally design, build, and launch high-impact retention campaigns and experiments

Directly analyze complex data sets, build models, and derive insights without waiting for analysts

Personally write campaign briefs, and strategic documents as needed

Get into the technical details - from reviewing SQL queries to troubleshooting attribution issues

Comfortable jumping into any part of the retention funnel to unblock progress or solve problems

Balance strategic leadership with tactical execution - youll spend 40-50% of time doing hands-on work Not a "delegate-only" role - you win by being the best operator on the team, not just the best strategist Lead by example through excellent execution that sets the standard for the entire team Thrive in lean, resource-constrained environments where senior leaders must contribute directly to output

Act as both architect and builder - design the strategy and help build it yourself


Retention Strategy Leadership

Develop and own the companys comprehensive customer retention and lifecycle strategy

Define retention as a core growth driver and integrate it across all customer touchpoints

Create long-term roadmap for customer retention optimization and lifetime value maximization

Drive strategic initiatives that transform one-time customers into loyal, high-value advocates


Growth Function Development

Establish growth processes, frameworks, and best practices across acquisition, activation, and retention

Design and implement experimentation programs to continuously improve retention metrics

Create scalable systems for customer segmentation, targeting, and personalized engagement


Business Impact & Revenue Growth

Own customer lifetime value (CLV) as a primary business metric and drive continuous improvement

Reduce customer churn rate while increasing repeat purchase frequency and order values


Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Economics,Engineering or related field; MBA preferred

8-14 years of progressive experience in growth marketing

Proven track record of building and scaling customer retention programs in fast-growing companies

Experience 8-14 years in growth

Deep expertise in retention marketing, customer lifecycle management, and growth analytics


Preferred Qualifications

Advanced proficiency in growth analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics)

Experience with customer data platforms (CDPs)

Strong understanding of A/B testing, statistical analysis, and experimentation methodologies

Proficiency in SQL and data analysis for customer behavior insights

Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems Experience with machine learning applications in customer retention

Experience in MENA market or emerging markets Previous exposure to laundry, delivery, or on-demand service businesses(nice to have)

Knowledge of customer psychology and behavioral economics Experience with customer research methodologies and VoC programs

Background in CRM strategy or email marketing leadership Experience working in high-growth startups or scale-ups
