Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Measure and cut drywall panels to fit specific areas, ensuring precise dimensions for a seamless finish.
- Install gypsum board on walls and ceilings, employing techniques that enhance structural integrity and aesthetics.
- Apply joint tape and compound with skillful techniques to create smooth, invisible joints between panels.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry or construction is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in gypsum carpentry or a closely related field.
- Certification in drywall installation or related trade from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance in all projects.
