Main Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of carpentry tasks including installations of furniture, repairs, and alterations to building interiors and exteriors, furniture, fixtures, and fittings.

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, timber, and alternative materials using a variety of hand and power tools..

• Ensure all finished carpentry work meets safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.

• Conduct assessments and repairs on existing wooden structures, identifying faults and recommending durable solutions.

• Maintain tools and equipment in safe, serviceable condition and keep designated workspaces clean, organised, and secure.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a carpenter, joiner, or in a related building trade within commercial, residential, or hospitality environments.

• Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools, and health & safety legislation

• Excellent attention to detail and a focus on producing high quality, precise workmanship.
