Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the bakery team, including pastry chefs, bakers, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and creativity.
Develop, produce, and maintain high-quality baked goods, including breads, pastries, and desserts, in line with brand standards.
Design seasonal menus, special offerings, and bespoke items that enhance the guest experience.
Manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of bakery products for all outlets and events.
Maintain inventory, order ingredients, and control costs without compromising quality.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including HACCP and local regulations.
Conduct regular quality checks to maintain consistency and product excellence.
Collaborate with F&B, Events, and Culinary teams to support special events, catering, and in-house experiences.
Train, mentor, and develop bakery staff to grow talent and maintain operational excellence.
Desired Candidate Profile
What we re looking for
Culinary or Baking degree, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 5 years experience in bakery management, ideally in luxury hotels or lifestyle resorts.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
Creative flair and expertise in artisan bread, pastries, and desserts.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong knowledge of bakery operations, equipment, and ingredient handling.
Attention to detail, consistency, and commitment to quality.
