The successful applicant will join the medical team of 6 Nurses and 2 Physiotherapist, in taking care and helping on the rehabilitation of their family member. The patient is bedridden, he has Traumatic Brain Injury caused by road accident.
Degree qualified RN's from North America, Western Europe, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand are invited to apply.
You must have at least 10 years RN experience. Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, Trauma, Neurology & Rehabilitation will be to your advantage.
You must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing . (Note - Diploma Nurses not accepted)
Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing with specialty in Critical Care Nurse (preferably but not required).
Minimum of 10 years experience .
Preferably in the areas of: ICU, CCU, ER, Trauma, Neurology & Rehabilitation.
Valid license as a Registered Nurse.

To support the Team Leader with the Management, with a particular emphasis on clinical nursing leadership
To ensure that an excellent standard of care is set, delivered and maintained at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Senior Nurse will be responsible for carrying out the following duties:
To undertake initial assessment
To negotiate care plan
To ensure effective collaboration and communication with the wider multidisciplinary team and outside agencies as the patient advocate
To lead a team of care staff that provides excellence in clinical practice, and ensures the patient rights and privacy
To be fully aware of all agreed emergency procedures and be prepared to take a lead role in any acute clinical or non-clinical emergency
To ensure the implementation of all Trust clinical and non-clinical policies within the Home.
To be responsible for ensuring that all care and nursing staff maintain written and electronic care records and Trust records in accordance with record keeping standards.
To ensure that all medications, including controlled drugs are ordered, stored, administered and disposed properly.
To take responsibility for own professional development and act as an effective role model.
Ensure all health and safety requirement are met and all accidents and incidents reported to the family.
Participation in staff meetings
