ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are the duties the employee can expect, but not limited to:

• Manages/Works with a team that formulates, implements, operates, delivers, and manages security solutions for clients and internally.
• Work harmoniously in conjunction with the security analyst team (penetration testing team) and the SOC team.
• Manages the IT Team.
• Works as a Liaison/sales/client engagement as required.
• Provides Technical consultancies as requested.
• Works to develop strategies for the company and passes up the command structure for review.
• Must know how to conduct a SWOT analysis.
• Assesses, reviews and manages IT Systems (infrastructure) for Clientele.
• Reviews and provides input for the Final Report for Clientele.
• Reviews technical proposals for accuracy and provides input as needed.
• Writes the Executive Summaries for Final Reports.
• Writes the Final Reports as needed.
• Teaches team members how to create the Final Report, as needed.
• Attend meetings with different organizations as required to discuss vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Evaluate, assess, and provide recommendations on new products and technologies related to the design and deployment of secure systems.
• Give input on the processes of the organization.
• Communicates all tasks being managed, through every 15 days (twice a month) written reports with KPIs to Senior Management.
• Prepares a report every 15 days (twice a month) on all tasked managed with defined timelines for Senior Management.
• Advises Senior Management where recommendations are needed to improve.
• Optimizes resources (people and finances) before recommending procuring or using external sources.
• Always explore multiple options for posed Remediations and present to Senior Management for approval, prior to discussing with Client.
• If applicable, prepare a structured model that assesses how vendors are selected, to include their experience, industry exposure, certifications, and their cost.


• Reviews comprehensive reports of vulnerabilities and probable future weak points developed by in security analyst team.
• Interact with other IT personnel, sometimes of different nationalities and ethnic backgrounds.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Provide off-hours, on-call support.
• Safety and Health is the responsibility of all employees, to include Fire Fighting with extinguishers.


Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences preferred
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, SABSA, ISO 27001 LI / LA
- 8- 15 years experience
- Managing a Team of technical personnel.
- Familiar with technical proposals.
- Providing direction and tasks to a Team.
- Knowledge of the following:
o Windows, OSX and Linux operating systems
o C, C++, C#, Java, ASM, PHP, JavaScript, Python, Golang
o Bash, Powershell
o Network servers and networking tools (e.g. Nessus, nmap, Burp, etc.)
o Computer hardware and software systems
o Web-based applications
o Security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001/27002, NIST, HIPPA, SOX, etc.)
o Security tools and products (Fortify, AppScan, Wireshark, etc.)
o Kali Linux, Backtrack Linux, Tails, Cyborg Linux, Knoppix or BackBox Linux etc.
o Vulnerability analysis and reverse engineering
