Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Head of Mathematics will lead and manage the mathematics department across all grade levels. This role involves curriculum planning, teacher support, student performance monitoring, and ensuring alignment with Common Core standards.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with staff to promote innovative teaching practices and maintain high educational standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Master s Degree in Mathematics or related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 5 years of teaching experience in mathematics, preferably within an international or Common Core setting
- Proven leadership experience as a Head of Department or similar role
- Strong knowledge of the Common Core curriculum framework
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to mentor teachers and foster professional development
- Competence in data analysis for student assessment purposes
