Effective supervision of customer’s services provided and facilities granted by the Bank
through different operational units to the investors and financing clients through our business
Effective centralization of card (credit and debit) operations.
Financial management of the department, including but not limited to preparing and
administering the department budget in line with the Bank strategy, and ensuring that budget
targets are met.
Serve as the department main point of contact only for critical and strategic matters;
externally with management, other departments and third parties to and provide reports and
resolve issues and internally to respond to employees requests, enquiries, grievances and
resolve issues. The approach of main point of contact should not be construed as a restriction
on free flow of ideas and interactions of Banking Operations staff with other department.
Proactive and prompt escalation of critical matters and any operational lapses / exceptions to
Coordinate the department logistics and resources.
Policies, procedures and processes
Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies and procedures and other regularities.
Responsible for the department policies and procedures to be comprehensive and updated.
Significantly improve the efficiency across the department and strengthen internal controls.
Mentoring, Appraisal, Training and Succession plan
Provide effective delegation, monitoring and mentoring for an effective succession plan.
Provide guidance, leadership, coaching and motivation to employees to create a positive,
encouraging and effective working environment.
Set and manage employees’ short and long-term responsibilities and objectives in line with
the department plans and Bank's strategy to ensure smooth running of the department
activities and projects.
Manage the employee’s performance appraisal, promotion, and salary increment and career
Identify current and future training needs, provide training and professional development and
manage the department's training plan and professional competence to maintain a standard
understanding among team members about policies, procedures, laws, rules, regulations and
best practices to ensure ongoing development.
Emphasis on achieving time-bound cross training and multi-tasking across the Banking
Coordinate with Human Resources, Banking Operation department's recruitment and
Business Development Support
Identify study and recommend areas of further development and quality improvement as well
as improvements in the existing services and products of the Bank.
Assist in development correspondent banking relationship with Group companies, other
banks and obtain maximum services at best prices and explore the possibility of rebate
