About the Role

Blueline Furniture Factory LLC is seeking a highly skilled Head of Technical Department to lead our technical team. The ideal candidate will oversee shop drawing preparation, ensure compliance with project specifications, and coordinate with clients and site teams to guarantee accuracy and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the preparation, submission, and approval of shop drawings.
• Ensure drawings meet client specifications, project requirements, and approved materials.
• Coordinate with clients for technical clarifications, approvals, and timelines.
• Conduct site visits to confirm dimensions, conditions, and installation requirements.
• Lead, train, and mentor the technical team to improve quality and efficiency.
• Prepare departmental reports and track performance against KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in technical detailing, joinery/shop drawing production, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and other technical drawing tools.
• Excellent understanding of joinery, fit-out, and interior design standards.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams and workflows.
• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel when required.
