Key Responsibilities Health & Safety Compliance Ensure compliance with UAE labor law, civil defense, and regulatory safety requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Risk Assessment & Prevention Carry out risk assessments and job safety analysis for all operations. Recommend and implement risk mitigation measures. Ensure that all safety equipment and PPE are properly used and maintained. Incident Management Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and propose preventive measures. Maintain records of safety violations and corrective actions taken. Support HR in managing workplace injury cases and coordinating with medical providers. Training & Awareness Conduct safety inductions for new employees and visitors. Arrange periodic safety training, fire drills, and emergency response sessions. Promote a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns and toolbox talks. Monitoring & Reporting Maintain safety documentation, permits, inspection logs, and compliance records. Submit periodic HSE performance reports to management. Monitor contractors and subcontractors for safety compliance on site. Emergency Preparedness Develop and implement emergency response plans. Ensure fire extinguishers, alarms, and first aid kits are available and functional.
