Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maneuver heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations to maintain road safety.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring weight distribution is balanced to enhance stability and reduce wear on the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and cargo transport to comply with legal requirements and company policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational training in heavy-duty vehicle operation being a distinct advantage.
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with necessary endorsements for the specific type of vehicle being operated.
Minimum of 1 years of experience driving heavy-duty vehicles in a similar industry, showcasing a strong safety record.
Familiarity with various types of heavy equipment and their operations, with the ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance.
