Responsibilities

• Operate heavy forklifts to load and unload materials and merchandise safely.
• Transport inventory and goods to designated locations within the facility.
• Inspect forklifts before use to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Complete daily inventory checks and report discrepancies to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficient operations.
• Log movements and activities in the inventory management system accurately.
• Coordinate with other team members to optimize loading and unloading schedules.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures without compromise.
• Perform minor maintenance and adjustments on equipment as needed for operations.
• Attend safety training sessions and implement learnings into daily operations.
• Identify potential hazards and report any equipment failures immediately.
• Provide support in other warehouse operations as needed by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification with basic reading skills.
• Certified forklift operator with experience in handling heavy machinery.
• Proven track record of operating heavy-duty forklifts in a warehouse setting.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations for forklift operations.
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods when necessary.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.
• Experience using inventory management systems and recording data accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
