Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maneuver heavy trucks/buses through diverse terrains and traffic conditions, ensuring safe and timely deliveries or passenger transport.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, meticulously checking all mechanical and safety systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure roadworthiness.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and regulations, including hours of service and weight restrictions, to maintain a clean driving record and avoid penalties.
- Adapt to changing schedules, routes, and weather conditions, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to completing assigned tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with dispatchers, mechanics, and other team members to ensure efficient operations and resolve any arising issues.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving heavy trucks or buses, showcasing a proven safety record.
- Valid Light Vehicle / Heavy Bus Driving License.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Bus or Light Driver.
- Familiar with regional traffic laws and routes.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
