Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
Perform installation of electrical panels, switchgears, control systems, motors, and pumps.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in irrigation systems, HVAC, cold storage, and farm equipment.
Ensure proper grounding, circuit protection, and safety compliance as per Qatar Civil Defense and Kahramaa regulations.
Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and testing of electrical systems.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and construction teams for new project execution.
Maintain accurate records of electrical works, repairs, and spare parts usage.
Follow strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines on site.
Requirements
Minimum 3u20135 years of experience in construction and industrial electrical works (experience in agricultural/industrial projects preferred).
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures.
Experience with agricultural automation systems (irrigation pumps, motors, sensors, PLCs u2013 an advantage).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Physically fit, with ability to work in outdoor agricultural environments.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic knowledge is an advantage).
