Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule within the Semi Govt Co.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and procurement strategies specific to Abu Dhabi's regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams, fostering strong working relationships to drive project success.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local regulations, building codes, and safety standards, particularly those applicable in Abu Dhabi.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, including financial performance, progress updates, and potential risks, tailored for a semi-government environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable, showcasing project management expertise.
  • Holds a Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent, demonstrating professional competence.
  • Excellent command of English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Demonstrates strong technical skills in project planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
  • Exhibits strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of managing diverse teams.
  • Demonstrates a proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
