Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and management systems in compliance with industry standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.).
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analysis (JSA) for work activities.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project HSE plans.
- Lead incident/accident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment.
- Liaise with project managers, supervisors, and contractors to promote a proactive HSE culture.
- Maintain up-to-date HSE records, permits, and documentation for audits and inspections.
- Participate in emergency drills and ensure readiness of emergency response plans.
- Provide technical support on environmental protection measures, waste management, and pollution control.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of HSE experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory); additional safety/environmental certifications are an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong experience in hazard analysis, incident investigation, and HSE auditing.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
