Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Be the first smile our guests see welcome and seat guests, manage reservations and waiting lists, and coordinate closely with service and culinary teams to deliver a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, confirm reservations, manage walk-ins, and escort to tables.
- Maintain the seating chart and waitlist to optimise table turns and guest flow.
- Answer phone/email enquiries; take reservations and provide outlet information.
- Liaise with Captains/Servers and the kitchen to pace seating and service.
- Record guest preferences and VIP notes to support personalised service.
- Keep the host desk, menus, and entrance area impeccably presented.
- Support opening/closing checklists and basic admin for the outlet.
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous hostess/front-of-house experience in a 4/5-star hotel or upscale restaurant.
- Polished communication and guest-engagement skills; confident, professional presence.
- Familiarity with reservation/table-management systems.
- Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.
- Impeccable grooming, calm under pressure, and strong teamwork.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
