Roles & Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, ensuring all surfaces, linens, and amenities meet high-quality standards.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens, ensuring that guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries regarding housekeeping services in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms, to create a welcoming environment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on cleaning techniques and customer service best practices.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management to ensure continuous operation.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of special events and functions, ensuring a clean and organized space.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in hospitality or housekeeping is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as linens and cleaning equipment, without difficulty.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset for guest interactions.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning products and tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
- Proven reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and a passion for service.
