Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring a spotless and welcoming environment for every guest.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, ensuring all surfaces, fixtures, and amenities are spotless and inviting.
- Manage linen inventory by efficiently handling, sorting, and replenishing linens while maintaining quality standards.
- Report maintenance issues promptly, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining the overall comfort of guests.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and towels, ensuring guests have everything they need for a pleasant stay.
- Perform detailed inspections of guest rooms before check-in to ensure adherence to hotel standards and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with laundry services, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed.
- Change bed linens and towels, making beds to hotel standards, and replenish guest amenities like toiletries and coffee supplies to enhance guest comfort.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors, and dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the guest rooms.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles, disposing of waste properly and adhering to the hotel's waste management guidelines.
- Restock and organize cleaning supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are readily available and properly stored for efficient operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar cleaning role is preferred to demonstrate relevant industry experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar cleaning role.
- No specific nationality preference is needed, welcoming candidates from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops, etc.) and knowledge of cleaning chemicals is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are essential.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are necessary.
