* Job Purpose: To act as the primary HR interface within the
Business / Support Groups aligning human resource efforts with business
objectives to ensure increased profitability,
productivity and employee engagement
Accountabilities:
HR support : Advise the Group/Function on all
HR issues to ensure that all employees are managed in the Bank s processes and
educate line managers in the use of effective people management techniques.
Recruitment: Identify recruitment needs and
oversee the recruitment process to ensure candidates of the best caliber are
sourced and on-boarded
Learning and
Development :
Assess L&D requirements and ensure these are translated into effective
L&D programs so the Group/Function has people with the right skills and
experience to meet its objectives
Succession
Planning :
Develop and manage a succession pipeline and oversee succession planning and
backups implementation
Reward
Management :
Execute the Bank s job analysis, grading and salary management processes to
ensure fair and reasonable outcomes in line with budget and wider standards
Employee
Relations :
Manage grievances, exits and disciplinary actions to ensure appropriate
outcomes in line with policy.
Organizational
design :
Advise on the structure of the Group/Function to ensure that the structure and
roles are fit for purpose and improve performance
Policies and
procedures :
Advise on and interpret HR policy and procedures to ensure these are understood
and complied with by all levels of employee
Reporting: Identify HR issues within the
Group/Function and ensure these are communicated to HR colleagues.
Counseling: Advise and counsel members of
staff on a confidential basis to ensure issues are clarified and resolved
Kuwaitization : Plan and take actions to
recruit/exit employees to ensure the Bank achieves Kuwaitization targets

Desired Candidate Profile

* Education/Knowledge/Experience/Skills
Education / Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in HR or
equivalent
Knowledge: Good knowledge of HR practices, Organizational
development and conflict resolution and knowledge of the local and
International market practices
Experience: 4 6 years in HR with minimum 2 years in a Business
Partnering role
Accreditation /
Licensing: PHR/SPHR
Generic &
Specific Skills:
Excellent Communication
Analytical Thinking
Conflict management
Bilingual in Arabic & English
Proficient
in IT (MS Office & AML software)
