Started in the year 1960, Dubai Airports is committed to creating world-class airports to add to the opulence and global standing of Dubai. At present, it owns and manages the operation and development of both of Dubai’s airports – Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC). DXB
serves over 66 million people in a year and fly to more than 260 destinations across 6 continents. DWC was built close to the fast growing areas of ‘new Dubai’ and was opened in June 2010 for cargo operations first, followed by passenger flights in October 2013. Once it is completed, the airport will be the world’s largest global gateway with a capacity to serve more than 160 million passengers per year. It will also serve as a multi-modal logistics hub for 12 million tonnes of freight.
The company’s vision is to become the world’s leading airport company. To achieve this, Dubai Airports is dedicated to offer a world-class experience to its customers by providing safe, secure and environmentally responsible airports. We work in partnership with airlines and our stakeholders to drive the growth of Dubai.
The company believes in nurturing the personal growth of its people. Its aim is to ensure that the people have the skills and knowledge to carry out their duties with confidence and pride. Dubai Airports offers its employees a comprehensive portfolio of skills and development programmes covering training and development needs across the organisation.
