Job Title: HR Business Partner, META (Middle East, Turkey and Africa)
Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Scope of Responsibilities: Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey, Egypt, South Africa, Pakistan & North Africa
Reporting line to into Sr Director, HR EMEA
The HR Business Partner role is an experienced role which partners closely with HR (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Shared Services and the other business partners) and related functions (e.g. Legal, Finance), managers and employees worldwide to ensure HR capabilities drive and support Juniper s business objectives.
The HR Business Partner represents Human Resources in the delivery of HR services and activities including partnering with the local business teams, performance and change management, employee relations, management skill development, coaching and organizational effectiveness, employee engagement & restructuring. Employing exceptional customer service skills, the HR Business Partner builds strong connections across all constituents via remarkable interactions and high-quality deliverables.
Main Responsibilities
Assists the Regional HR Lead in deploying people strategy in META Region (in particular: org effectiveness, diversity and inclusion, Talent, engagement, manager effectiveness and culture)
Connects with local employees and interfaces with Leadership in Region.
Supports HR initiatives and Corporate cyclical programs roll out in Region.
Observes, recommends solutions to, and as appropriate, escalates regional issues to the appropriate Regional HR Lead or other HR colleagues.
Acts as Regional expert in matters of culture, compliance, local market conditions and laws for colleagues in HR.
Acts as point of escalation for regional HR colleagues and raise potential concerns or issues to management as appropriate.
Works very closely with outside legal, accounting and mobility agencies.
Responsible for Saudization process.
Addresses and resolves employee relations concerns. Leads internal investigations in consultation with Legal and/or other internal partners as applicable.
Provides consultation which enables managers and colleagues by driving their capability & skill development, productivity, and effectiveness, facilitating managers and team members to successfully engage with one another, recommending and in some cases applying/matching tools & resources to drive the right outcomes.
Provides guidance and support in administering HR policies and procedures.
Participates in global HR projects.
Experience and Skills Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or related field.
Experience as an HR generalist in a wide variety of human resources operations, including employment law, performance management, business partnering and employee relations.
Areas of expertise include staffing, training and development, compensation and benefits, immigration, compliance, on and off boarding of employees.
International experience of working in an IT environment, preferably with US companies.
Proven ability to build relationships with, as well as advise and influence across all levels.
Strong employment law and compliance knowledge across META.
Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Strong conflict resolution skills.
Proven project management, organizational, diagnostic and analytical skills.
Exceptional customer skills and administrative skills.
Ability to prioritize.
Must thrive in a fast paced, complex, dynamic, multi-cultural environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing are required.
Demonstrated integrity while working with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues.
Strong PC/Mac skills including MS Office. PeopleSoft experience is an advantage.
Ability to accommodate business travel.
Fluent English required. Arabic.
