Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Implement HR strategies aligned with operational and strategic goals.
  • Advise management on organizational structure, manpower planning, and succession management.
  • Oversee HR policies, performance management, and employee development programs.
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure timely and transparent hiring.
  • Supervise workforce deployment and staff rotations, including camp-based employees.
  • Ensure compliance with Iraqi Labor Law and internal HR policies.
  • Lead grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and dispute resolution with fairness and confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and regulatory documentation.
  • Review and approve payroll, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
  • Conduct periodic salary benchmarking and recommend compensation adjustments.
  • Identify training needs and implement annual training and development plans.
  • Promote continuous learning, leadership, and compliance programs.
  • Oversee administrative operations including facilities, transportation, logistics, and document control.
  • Supervise travel arrangements and company correspondences.
  • Manage daily operations of the employee camp, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Oversee accommodation, catering, recreation, and welfare facilities.
  • Implement policies related to camp discipline, curfews, and visitor management.
  • Coordinate with the HSE Department to ensure occupational health and safety compliance.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee welfare, engagement, and retention.
  • Maintain HR and administration reporting systems and analytical dashboards (headcount, turnover, leave, camp occupancy, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10 15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Administration.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and camp management.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High integrity, discretion, and ability to work under pressure.
