HR leadership and consultation to business leaders and line managers on the strategic and people related matters impacting their organization in Egypt. This individual will work collaboratively with leaders and managers to turn business strategies into leading people practices and processes to create an effective organization.
The HR Manager needs to manage the execution of all HR activities namely recruitment, retention, development, C&B and engagement in his/her scope of responsibility.
Act as a first point of contact to line managers and provide HR generalist support to the employee population.
Partner with local business managers on a regular basis to define, develop and implement HR programs to support the business needs of the organization.
Handles all HR policy inquires from the employee population. Administer approved policies and practices within client group covering several areas including recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, employee relations, safety and organization development.
Quickly resolve employee questions, inquiries and complaints or direct them to the appropriate parties.
Recruitment, Retention and Development of all employees in Egypt.
Understanding the jobs open and skill sets needed, sourcing the candidates, managing the interview and assessment cycle, managing a smooth offer preparation and negotiation, getting the employee on board and orienting him/her into the organization.
Partnering with line managers and employees to address development needs and plans both from the business perspective and the employee perspective.
Compensation & Benefits Definition, administration, management and review of all benefits and benefits suppliers including insurances, company car fleet, pension plan.
Ensure compliance with regard to employment legislation such as grievance, disciplinary and other procedures and other contractual obligations.
Employee Recordkeeping reporting and administration.
Deliver and communicate companywide HR programs and initiatives, such as: performance management, compensation and people planning, employee relations, training, legal compliance, internal communications, and other HR projects within the client groups.
Provide support in all areas of employee relations. Proactively provide expert counsel, coaching and direction on people issues by assisting managers with developing, coaching, training, disciplining and terminating employees.
Other duties and projects as assigned by the HR and Egypt Country Senior Officer.
