JOB PURPOSE:

To develop and implement effective HR strategy, policies, and procedures to ensure the company has the necessary resources to achieve its short, medium and long terms business
plans.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Implement and manage all HR initiatives and Talent Management programmes to sustain high performance culture.
2. Ensure the HR team delivers accurate and timely HR services, whilst maintaining confidentiality, diplomacy, ethical integrity.
3. Conduct a continuing audit of all HR policies, programs, and practices and identify opportunities for improvement to help align the workforce with the strategic goals the company.
4. Promote effective communication and good working relationships within the management and staff through progressive HR programmes and initiatives.
5. Participate in management and staff meetings, on various joint committees and attend industry seminars and conferences to keep abreast of industry trends, laws and regulations.
6. Counsel and advice Managers on all employment related issues in accordance with the company’s HR policies and government laws and regulations.
7. Assist with the carrying out of as company-wide process of OD that addresses issues such as resource planning, succession planning, high performing workforce development, employee retention and
change management.
8. Manage the team’s performance through adherence to the company’s performance management process in order to close performance gaps and support personal development.

Desired Candidate Profile

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

Experience: 5-7 years in HR managerial position
Education: Masters / Bachelor’s Degree / College Diploma in Business Administration, and/or Professional Certification
Job Specific Skills: Interpersonal Skills, Extensive knowledge of UAE Labour laws, Organisational Skills,
Generic Skills: Communication Skills, Coaching, Conflict Resolution

FINANCIALS & DIMENSIONS:

Functional scope: Directly accountable of the annual HR Budget
Reporting Staff: HR Administrators, HR Coordinators, Learning & Development Manager

WORKING ENVIRONMENT, COMMUNICATION & DECISION MAKING:

Working Environment : Sedentary Environment, UAE labour office
Internal Relationships : General Manager, Rental & Lease Managers & staff, Accounts department, I.T. department, Management within MHAO group
External Relationships : UAE labour office personnel, External HR providers/vendors
Decision Making: Decisions require interpretation and evaluation in major areas of uncertainty or conflicting requirements.
