SHARE JOB HRMS Database Administrator is to support the Human Resources department. The jobholder will act as the first point of contact for HR Database related queries from management, employees and external stakeholders. The jobholder’s main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records on HRMS, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records, personnel files, document copies, etc.) on the HRMS Database and updating internal databases promptly and periodically ensuring their accuracy and completeness. The ideal candidate will have experience with HR Systems, HRMS Databases, data flow processes and procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. Key Job Functions • Organizing and maintaining personnel records on HRMS and updating internal HR databases promptly. • Identifies database requirements by ensuring data integrity and correctness; analysing department requirements; evaluating existing system and evaluating proposed solutions. • Recommends HR solutions by defining database structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery requirements. • Developing HR Database related specifications and flowcharts; recommending optimum access techniques; coordinating user requirements. • Maintains HR database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; supporting new releases. • Liaise with external partners (such as IT vendors), and ensure HRMS system and database is maintained and updated at all times. • Prepares users by conducting training; providing information; resolving problems. • Developing and providing MIS templates, dashboards and reports as may be required by management and departments from time to time. • Provides information on request by answering questions and requests. • Contributes to HR team efforts by accomplishing database related results as needed.
